George Swisher was a deacon of Covenant Baptist Church in San Antonio, back in the late ’90s, just before he died of AIDS. George secretly smoked pot, and then his secret was out when he hit the pipe hard during his last communion.

Which was one of the most beautifully spiritual moments of grace I experienced as a pastor.
